Futsal: Portugal bate Espanha nos penáltis e conquista Finalíssima

Portugal venceu este domingo a Finalíssima, com um triunfo nos penáltis frente à Espanha. No tempo regulamentar, registou-se um empate a uma bola.

O conjunto espanhol adiantou-se no marcador, por Mellado, mas Afonso Jesus empatou já na segunda parte.

O encontro arrastou-se até aos penáltis, e aí a Seleção Nacional foi mais forte: Bruno Coelho, André Coelho, Pany Varela e Tomás Paçó converteram os respetivos remates e, na baliza, Edu defendeu duas tentativas espanholas.

Portugal junta assim a Finalíssima ao Bicampeonato da Europa e ao Campeonato do Mundo.

A Finalíssima, refira-se, é uma prova organizada por UEFA e CONMEBOL que reúne campeões e finalistas vencidos do Europeu e da Copa América, numa ‘final four’.

Portugal won the Finalíssima this Sunday, with a victory on penalties against Spain. In regulation time, there was a draw to one ball.

The Spanish team took the lead, through Mellado, but Afonso Jesus equalized in the second half.

The match dragged on to penalties, and then the National Team was stronger: Bruno Coelho, André Coelho, Pany Varela and Tomás Paçó converted their shots and, in goal, Edu saved two Spanish attempts.

Portugal thus adds the Finalissima to the  Two-time European Championship and the World Championship.

The  Finalíssima, by the way, is a competition organized by UEFA and CONMEBOL that brings together champions and defeated finalists of the European Championship and Copa América, in a ‘final four’.
