FC Porto goleado em casa pelo Club Brugge na ‘Champions’

O FC Porto sofreu hoje a segunda derrota em outros tantos encontros no Grupo B da Liga das Campeões de futebol, ao ser goleado em casa com o Club Brugge, por 4-0, complicando a continuidade na prova.

Sem qualquer derrota com equipas belgas em casa até hoje, os ‘dragões’ viram o Brugge inaugurar o marcador por Jutglá (15 minutos), de grande penalidade, com Sowah (47), Skov Olsen (52) e Nusa (89) a marcarem na segunda parte.

Com esta derrota, o FC Porto mantém-se com zero pontos, no fundo do Grupo B, liderado pelo Club Brugge, com seis, seguido do Bayer Leverkusene do Atlético de Madrid, ambos com três, depois da vitória dos alemães sobre os espanhóis, por 2-0.

Sporting vence em casa com Tottenham e isola-se na liderança do Grupo D da ‘Champions’

O Sporting venceu hoje em casa o Tottenham, por 2-0, em jogo da segunda jornada do Grupo D da Liga dos Campeões de futebol, e isolou-se na liderança da ‘poule’.

Paulinho, aos 90 minutos, e o estreante Arthur Gomes, aos 90+3, marcaram os golos do triunfo dos ‘leões’, que passam a somar seis pontos, mais três do que os ingleses.

No outro encontro do Grupo D, entre equipas que perderam na primeira ronda, o Marselha foi derrotado pelo Eintracht Frankfurt por 1-0.

O Benfica viaja hoje até Turim onde defrontará a Velha Senhora Juventus pelas 21h00.

FC Porto defeated at home by Club Brugge in the ‘Champions’

FC Porto today suffered the second defeat in as many matches in Group B of the Football Champions League, after being thrashed at home by Club Brugge, by 4-0, complicating the continuity in the competition.

Without any defeat against Belgian teams at home until today, the ‘dragons’ saw Brugge open the scoring by Jutglá (15 minutes), from a penalty, with Sowah (47), Skov Olsen (52) and Nusa (89 ) to be scored in the second part.

With this defeat, FC Porto remains with zero points, at the bottom of Group B, led by Club Brugge, with six, followed by Bayer Leverkusene from Atlético de Madrid, both with three, after the Germans’ victory over the Spaniards, by 2-0.

Sporting wins at home with Tottenham and isolates itself at the top of ‘Champions’ Group D

Sporting beat Tottenham 2-0 at home today, in a game for the second round of Group D of the Football Champions League, and isolated themselves in the lead of the ‘poule’.

Paulinho, at 90 minutes, and debutant Arthur Gomes, at 90+3, scored the winning goals for the ‘lions’, who now have six points, three more than the English.

In the other Group D match, between teams that lost in the first round, Marseille was defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt by 1-0.

Benfica travels to Turin today where they will face Old Lady Juventus at 21:00.
