| A Festa de Nossa Senhora do Monte está de volta. A confirmação do regresso das celebrações foi avançada por Pedro Calado ao JM, mormente sublinhar que vão haver modificações ao habitual figurino, este ano bem mais focado no conceito religioso do que no profano. O autarca sublinha que a segurança está garantida, mas o executivo camarário, após reunião com todas as ‘forças vivas’ da freguesia, opta este ano por excluir o fogo de artifício e reduzir os níveis do som. E vai também modificar a circulação rodoviária de forma a reduzir os constrangimentos de condutores e transeuntes. Eventualmente de castigo, ou pelo menos sem motivos para festas, estão muitos dos 2.584 alunos da Região que contribuíram para que a média regional das provas de aferição em matemática se situe 2% abaixo da média nacional, que também foi negativa (45%). Em português, a nota geral foi positiva (51%), mas voltou a estar aquém dos valores registados na globalidade do País. De números também se faz a histórica Serlima, que este ano celebra o seu 40.º aniversário. Em entrevista ao Jornal, Sérgio e João Umbelino, pai e filho, recordam o trajeto de uma empresa que começou com dois empregados em 1982 e hoje dá trabalho a cerca de cinco mil pessoas. A outro nível, a Associação Ajuda a Alimentar Cães denuncia mais um caso de maus-tratos. E acusa a PSP de nada ter feito depois de solicitar a sua intervenção por duas ocasiões. The confirmation of the return of the celebrations was advanced by Pedro Calado to the JM, mainly underlining that there will be changes to the usual costumes, this year much more focused on the religious concept than on the profane.
The mayor stresses that security is guaranteed, but the municipal executive, after meeting with all the ‘live forces’ of the parish, chooses this year to exclude fireworks and reduce sound levels. And it will also modify road traffic in order to reduce the constraints of drivers and passers-by.
Many of the 2,584 students in the Region were eventually punished, or at least without reasons for parties, who contributed to the regional average of the mathematics assessment tests being 2% below the national average, which was also negative (45%). In Portuguese, the overall score was positive (51%), but was once again below the values recorded in the country as a whole.
