The Folklore Group of the Madeira Social Center participated yesterday, Sunday, July 3, in the “Arraial Dia Da Madeira” at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima located in the Carrizal Municipality of Miranda state.
With great joy they presented themselves for the first time in this beautiful building, a modern replica of the Fatima Sanctuary in Venezuela and which is about to be completed shortly, at the invitation of the Friends of Our Lady of Fatima Civil Association of Los Altos Mirandinos to celebrate Madeira Day, and the Madeiran Communities used the opportunity to raise funds for the Sanctuary.
It was a very beautiful day, full of emotion and joy, where solidarity shone and the culture, customs and traditions of the Madeiran people living in Venezuela stood out.
Our cultural ambassadors brought the Madeiran Folklore in its maximum expression to the present public, who enjoyed it greatly.
